When it comes to celebrity homes, it is often assumed that most A-listers will have a place in California. Most of the time, it’s near Los Angeles, but San Diego is also incredibly popular with the glitterati of the world. Read on to discover the most famous celebrities who live in San Diego.

San Diego is a very celebrity-heavy city. So, if you get a home here, keep an eye out. You never know who your new neighbors could be.

1. Tony Hawk

The most famous celebrity that lives in San Diego is Tony Hawk. And, let’s face it, California is going to be a natural draw for pro skateboarders and other extreme sports players. It is the birthplace of skateboarding, not to mention one of the biggest hotspots of the sport. Part of that reason is that Tony Hawk lives in So Cal—specifically, San Diego.

Tony Hawk was born and raised in San Diego, and he doesn’t seem to want to stray too far from the city. However, his multimillion-dollar home can be found in Carlsbad, right on the city’s outskirts.

2. Shaun White

The Flying Tomato is a famous snowboarder who became iconic thanks to his fiery red hair—often visible while he whizzes down the slopes. Believe it or not, White is a San Diego native who lived in town before he became famous.

He still chooses to reside there, even after all the millions he’s earned. His home is in Encinitas and was recently rebuilt. At 3,500 square feet, newly remodeled, and stunning, it currently clocks in at over $8 million.

3. Aaron Rogers

Gates currently owns a property at Del Mar. One can only imagine how wealthy, lush, and lavish his home is. So it makes sense that he would want to choose Del Mar. It’s said to be one of the most luxurious and picturesque places in all of SoCal.

For what it’s worth, he’s also rumored to have a second home in Rancho Santa Fe. What we do know is that Bill Gates spend a jaw-dropping $43 million on the place he lives in.

5. Deepak Chopra

There are few people who are as highly esteemed in the world of self-help and motivation as Deepak Chopra. The spiritualist has been a cornerstone of the New Age movement for decades, and to a point, it makes sense. He has a very SoCal vibe about him.
